Project Management Assistant

 

Job Summary

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Providing support to internal project managers and external customers, pre-logging of projects into LIMS database system, generation of quotations for analytical services, interaction with the Sales & Marketing staff, and assist with the entering of bottle orders and or courier requests.

 

Requirements:

Education:   BS/BA in Chemistry or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two to three years in environmental laboratory industry is required.

 

Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday 1 pm - 9:30 pm

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Review of all incoming Chain Of Custody documents and logging of jobs into LIMS database
  2. Set up and maintaining of all project details in LIMS database
  3. Generate analytical services quotations
  4. Provide support to PM and Log In team members
  5. Must be organized and detailed
  6. Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
  7. Must be motivated and have a positive attitude
  8. Must be a team player but also skilled to work independently
  9. Flexible schedule
  10. Excellent phone / communication skills
  11. Multi tasked; able to manage several projects at one time.
  12. Actively participant in company’s LEAN/process efficiency initiative

 

 

Minimum Required Skills:

  1. Knowledge of safe laboratory practices.
  2. Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills.
