Emerging Contaminants Seminar - Buffalo, NY

Date: PLEASE NOTE THE DATE FOR THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO: March 14, 2018

Time: 8:00am - 11:30am

Seminar Description

Emerging contaminants such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), 1,4-dioxane and perchlorate are being widely discussed in the media as well as the environmental community.  Many states have been taking the lead in drafting policies and regulations, and as such there are differing requirements in terms of analytical methodology, target compound lists, regulatory standards, detection limits, etc.  This seminar will focus on an overview of the potential sources of these contaminants, legal ramifications, sampling techniques and the analytical method options that are available to address these substances.
