Percent Lipids analysis is often requested to normalize the results of lipophilic contaminants present in tissue samples. Alpha utilizes the percent lipids methodology referenced in the NOAA Technical Memorandum, NOS ORCA 130 - Sampling and Analytical Methods of the National Status and Trends Program Mussel Watch Project: 1993-1996 (updated, March 1998).
