Project Management Assistant
Job Summary
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Providing support to internal project managers and external customers, pre-logging of projects into LIMS database system, generation of quotations for analytical services, interaction with the Sales & Marketing staff, and assist with the entering of bottle orders and or courier requests.
Requirements:
Education: BS/BA in Chemistry or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two to three years in environmental laboratory industry is required.
Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday 2:30 pm - 11 pm
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review of all incoming Chain Of Custody documents and logging of jobs into LIMS database
- Set up and maintaining of all project details in LIMS database
- Generate analytical services quotations
- Provide support to PM and Log In team members
- Must be organized and detailed
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
- Must be motivated and have a positive attitude
- Must be a team player but also skilled to work independently
- Flexible schedule
- Excellent phone / communication skills
- Multi tasked; able to manage several projects at one time.
- Actively participant in company’s LEAN/process efficiency initiative
Minimum Required Skills:
- Knowledge of safe laboratory practices.
- Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills.
