Alpha Analytical’s sophisticated sample management system, along with our professional logistical team, can schedule and track sample container requests and sample pick-ups/drop offs. We know at all times where your samples are located, how we can best respond to your needs and provide you with peace of mind.
Alpha's courier service is provided as a courtesy to all clients within the region for the delivery of sample containers and/or pick-up of samples at your office or project site. We require a minimum 24-hour notification, but will try to accommodate you in an emergency. Our laboratories and service centers are ready to serve our customers in the event that it is more convenient to pick-up sample containers or drop-off samples at one of our facilities. Routine sample bottle/courier requests are accepted and processed electronically from our automated website-based system (below), or you can email a request to one of our project managers or service centers. Sample glassware kits include a chain of custody form, cooler, ice, bubble-wrap, custody seals, DI water, blank labels on containers (or pre-labeled with client name/project name/ID/analysis etc.), with glassware segregated by sample location.
Upon receipt of a sample group, the respective driver scans a picture of the chain of custody form (COC) with a smart phone and sends a PDF of the form to the laboratory at the time of pick up to start the pre-login procedure. Samples are then driven (or shipped to locations outside of our courier system, such as the in the Midwest) to the laboratory under proper COC and temperature.
An emailed sample receipt confirmation is sent the next morning to our customers listing the login information for a sample group (e.g., samples, analysis, TAT, deliverables, report to, draft invoice). We request that our customers respond back quickly to the confirmation email if modifications are needed.
Our courier staff will adhere to the project security systems and sign-in procedures of the project site.

Once we have received your container order or courier service request, we will email you within 24 hours with a confirmation of your request. If we have any issues or concerns, you will be notified. We will then schedule your sample pick-up
All couriers are trained in proper chain of custody procedures for your convenience. Please note: All courier requests must be scheduled via the form below or by calling our office at 1-800-624-9220. Our couriers cannot accept verbal requests
